Carmen graduated from the University of Southern California and earned her Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy in 2006 and her Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology in 2001. Carmen was also a member of the Trojan Marching Band for four years while pursuing her undergraduate degree. Since graduating in 2006, her main focus has been in outpatient orthopedics and she has worked with a variety of orthopedic diagnoses including post operative rehab and orthopedic injuries of the spine and extremities. Carmen has participated in continuing education courses including Strain/Counterstrain as well as Managing Difficult Shoulder Cases, Lumbar Spine and Hip.
She also skated for many years and had the privilege of being coached by two Olympic coaches and had the pleasure of training with numerous World and Olympic figure skaters. This sports background is what led Carmen to pursue physical therapy as a career.
Carmen is very enthusiastic about working at Corona del Mar Rehab, meeting patients who have lived in the community and have previously attended CdM Rehab for their rehab programs. Along with her colleagues and ancillary staff, Carmen provides an excellent, professional, caring environment with sincere personal attention for all patients.
